Rectangle Tote Bag Pattern

These rectangle fabric tote bags from Saint Laurent to Dior are seen everywhere. It's surprisingly easy to make using your home sewing machine. Let's try.

MATERIALS

Recommended materials: denim, wool tweed, twill, and canvas.

Standard size

80 cm (31.5") x 70 cm (27.5") (width) main fabric (+ interfacing for soft fabric)

60 cm (23.6") x 70 cm (27.5") (width) lining

 

Final measurement:

40 cm width x 24 cm height x 11 cm depth

15.75" width x 9.5" height x 4.3" depth

 

We also added a large size (30% larger than the above standard size).
