The pleated dress was inspired by fashion designers such as Valentino, Vionnet, and Issey Miyake.
The pleats running down the body add detail and movement for an elegant and unique dress that feels effortless to wear. Add a statement bag such as our Knot Bag in a contrast color to your dress or a long pendant necklace.
Front
Pleated dress is long, with dolman sleeves. The waistline is gathered in with an elastic to give shaping to the waist. The pleats in the fabric continue over the shoulder and down the sleeves.
Back
Gathered elastic at the waistline continues around the back to the center back zipper. This beautiful dress flows as you move.
MATERIALS
2.5m or 2 1/2 yards.
Use a pre-pleated, lightweight fabric for this dress, such as polyester. Avoid chiffon as it will be challenging to sew.

• Ensure you print your PDF patterns at actual size (100%scale) and also select “borderless printing” so the print fills out a whole page without a margin.
