Selena Kids Ruffle Dress Pattern

Victorian-inspired meets cottage core. Lots of ruffles, a high collar and a front bib make this a beautiful dress with lots of detail.

Have fun with fabrics here: use vintage lace curtains for the sleeves, tablecloths, old sheets, ribbons, secondhand buttons, and trims.

Materials

73cm or 2/3 yards.

For the body of the dress, use a lightweight fabric such as cotton. Lace, eyelet, sheer or a contrast fabric can be used for the bib, sleeves, collar, and ruffles. Play around with different fabrics; this is a great project for using upcycled odds and ends. like lace curtains, tablecloths, ribbons.
